At Iowa Pearl Twins, we source genuine cultured freshwater pearls directly from pearl farms. Cultured pearls are real pearls grown inside freshwater mussels under controlled farming conditions. After harvest, the farm cleans, sorts, and prepares the pearls. Some pearls remain in their natural color, while others may be professionally color-enhanced by the farm to create certain vibrant shades. The pearls are then placed into preserved oyster shells by the farm before being shipped to us for our live reveal experience. We do not alter, dye, or treat the pearls ourselves. We simply host the fun and exciting reveal!
